Phil is obviously having a rest in that photograph.

And his head is so well-proportioned there.

Here is my cat William biting my hand, heehee. In case you're wondering, I don't have tiny hands - he's just really massive! :D

That the sort of size Phil's head should be. And the same colour.

Eeeee! What a massive lump of fluff.

I've just found out that the lease for our flat is being reviewed and we'll be allowed to get a cat. Well, it's not cat-specific but it says 'small pets' and I don't fancy miniature alligators.

that's what passes for a massive cat in the UK? my cat could have fit that cat inside her left paw and she was the athletic type.

Heehee. William is protesting volubly at imputations of smallness on his part. He's the biggest of all my pet cats so far, at any rate.

Phil sounds great. We had a small headed cat once, he was so funny. We never tired of laughing at his too-small head. Pippin, he was, rather fat but with a tiny feminine head and peachy coloured fur so everyone thought he was a girl, ha ha. I like Phil's name. William came from a pet rescue and they'd named him Duncan. I liked that and it suited him but I was out voted and William was the closest we could come to compromise. I've taken to calling him Haslet/Hazlitt because he is solid and squarish like a lump of haslet , via (William) Hazlitt the notable English essayist.

Phil came from a rescue home, too. I nearly took him back the next day because he was so rubbish. He runs everywhere, but in the manner of a spastic horse. You won't ever see him walk anywhere. And he forgets that he's just eaten. He'll have a snack, go and sit somewhere for ten seconds, then go and have another snack. He'll do this for a good five minutes sometimes.

He's as thick as pig shit, basically.

To continue with the Fascinating Tail of Haslet the Cat, the reason his head is so big is because he wasn't neutered when he arrived at cat rescue and he's already 5. Apparently that means male cats grow larger... in every respect! The vet who eventually gave him the snip said he had the biggest testicles he'd ever seen on a cat :O

He is doing his best to grow. He does a very convincing routine about how no one has fed him so sometimes he gets two dinners, hehe. I try to discourage this however.

Here he is having a stretch:

I can't believe the slander you're writing about your own cat! It sounds like you get excellent value for money out of Phil. Running like a spastic horse! Traversing the house in wonder at the novelty every five mins! Hilarious!
