Probably old news this, but take a look here if you like cats:

The older ones tend to be funnier.

Those ones he did made me choke on my cajun chicken sandwich. Great stuff.

My cat used to get depressed until I took over his care. Now he revels in terrorizing me, sticking his bum in my face. drooling on my clothes, sprawling on anything I might be reading at the time, mauling any bare flesh and doting on an ex boyfriend's left luggage. He's cute though so I forgive him. The cat that is.

But that article misses the point somewhat. Those captions are funny precisely because they're puerile and stupid. Its visual slapstick, its funny in the same way that using the word "fuck" is funny (come on, I can't be the only person who still laughs at that?) - because it evokes childish responses and for a moment it frees us from the cerebral and mature response expected from an adult.

My cat woke me up at 5am by biting my feet. I woke up after dreaming someone had been cutting my feet then I saw his shape down the bottom of the bed and it became clear.

Cutest thing he does is to put his paw gently on my hand or face. That makes me all melty.

We have a new new kitten in the flat. Moz (the kitten) gets on real well with Sophie (the dog) but has a very shaky relationship with Tim (the 13 year old cat).
It is a bit of a worry and I'll admit is keeping me up at night.
When Tim and Moz get into scrapes, Sophie often bounds over to protect little Moz. Sophie even onetime filled Moz's little kitty food dish with dog food when Moz was hungry. Its lovely, but we're dead scared that Tim is feeling left out. She hid in the cupboard the first week Moz was here, and only came out to poo.

Can't you send them on some kind of team-working skills course?

Oh my, that kitten is ridiculously cute. And it looks so tiny next to the dog. Hee!

I agree! I want a kitten right now. Andrew won't let me call it Scraggy II though.
Just be nice to me.

Think anyone will take my fully grown adult cat? He's massive and fluffy and miaows a lot in the morning and likes to stand on my face. Every now and again he tears around the flat and I have to hide in a corner in terror. He's got a lovely white tummy that he blatantly puts on display but won't let me tickle for long.
