Have any of you kept house rabbits?

Do you have any tips? Did they smell? Are they nice pets?

I grew up in a house with house rabbits and my mum still has one. They are really lovelly to have about. You can train them to use a litter tray or go out in the garden. My mum's just hangs around the house all day and they bunny proofed the garden so he can have full run of the place. When he wants to go outside he just sits by the back door to be let out. My mum leaves the back door open when he is out so if any local cats come in the garden and scare him he can run back in the house to safety. He has lots of toys to play with. They like stuff that makes a noise. He has a little metal bucket he likes to pick up in his mouth and throw around, also some blocks that when you arrange into a pyramid he likes to nock over.
Every night he goes upstairs to bed which is a big bunny hut in the spare bedroom. They do not smell any more than any other pet. You just need to make sure you clean out his indoor area/litter tray etc.

There is loads of information on how to house train rabbits, what to do to bunny proof your house etc (they like to chew wires!) on the indoor rabbit association website

We have rabbits but they are not really house rabbits - although they are particularly partial to coming in the house if we leave the back door open (we often let them have the run of the garden). You have to be very careful as they tend to chew wires etc!

My rabbits are cool and are called Belle & Sebastian !!!!

I have a house rabbit. He doesn't smell at all, and he only poos and pees in his cage, not anywhere else on the floor. He is an awesome pet. Most of the day he spends either sleeping, eating or chewing up everything in the living room. But he also likes to jump onto my lap for a big cuddle. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to owning a cat..
With syrup please..

You got a rabbit? When did this happen? Jochem is not allergic to rabbits?

I keep seeing baby rabbits on my way home from work. They may be the cutest things ever.
