Having had to pull out at the last minute this year, Chorusgirl return for 2017. Also added: Rainbow Reservoir

Don't know about you, but I feel Cowtown would fit neatly onto this bill.

And we complete the line-up with Po! and The 10p Mixes. Now go buy a ticket and cancel all other plans for the day.

Hmmm, now can I get away with travelling to this just a month after the Glasgow pop weekender?

There's only one way to find out...

I did want to come this year (missed it last year) but I've just booked for the Fortuna Pop! weekender which is only a fortnight later. I hope you do it next year - I'll definitely come.

Sorry to have to miss the end Simon - but all the stuff I saw was ace! What a great day. Where did you find Rainbow Reservoir? Wow.

The new 10p Mixes tune is a stunner - Danielle's singing was amazing throughout. I love the newer Wolf Girl stuff too. And the older stuff. And well, Peaness, wow again. <3

Yeah, this was brillo. I agree with what my esteemed colleague said above about all of the bands we saw.

Rainbow Reservoir were the only new 'uns on me and they totally blew my head off. Incredible scenes.

Please do this again next year Simon. I love Leicesterval me.

Rainbow Reservoir were great, weren't they? All it took was a recommendation from Trev, a couple of tracks and a whim, plus their drummer knew how to repair a broken tom skin. For a gig where none of the bands had turned up in full twenty minutes before doors and one later on literally had to go straight from van to stage and back out, it was a minor triumph.

Sorry I forgot to mention that that Mirch Masala has closed, by the way.

It was just too beautiful and pure for this world.

Their drummer was a smashing bloke, had a long chat with him pre Cowtown. Look forward to seeing them again at Indietracks.
