Sadly the Sock Puppets have had to drop out of the fest. We're working on a super replacement. More news when we have it.

Couldn't be happier about the last two bands to be announced for the DIY Popfest.
Hopefully these will hit the spot for some folk.

Breakfast Muff (Glasgow) - playing on the Friday
Camp Shy (London) - playing on the Sunday

Next round of spam to include running orders and DJ announcements.
See you in little over a month!

We kick off in under 24 hours. It's been a pleasure and privilege to be involved with the other wonderful people running the first DIYPOP FEST. Bring it on. So stoked that it's finally here.

this was BRILLIANT fun. i was expecting Otoboke Beaver to be great, but i was totally not prepared for them to be sensationally, unbelievably incredible. much adoration from the Good Grief camp.

thanks so much for having us anyway.

I am still a little bit broken. I wasn't even sure a few days before it happened whether I was going to make it (what with what's been going on with Char). But I was ordered to attend. And I am so glad I did.

That was the most fun ever. So many amazing highlights. So many smiling faces. So many pints of Five Points.

The rest of the DIYPOP Team are incredible people and it's been an absolute pleasure to have been involved with them. They rock my world.

I saw every band. I didn't see one band that I didn't like. Every band make me smile and feel more alive. I can't pick highlights but by all accounts when Otoboke Beaver left the Shack to head off to their south London gig - the front bar erupted in cheers and applause. That takes some doing - and loads of people told me it was a magical thing to witness.

Anyways, for those that were there and those that weren't - these videos are now up:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 64FTxGpsy7

It misses the Saturday evening, as Andres (the video man) had to be elsewhere - which makes me a little sad! Because the first Try The Pie show was just brilliant too. And Two White Cranes made it so you could hear a pin drop in a PACKED shack back room, that takes some doing too. Aw, everyone was awesome. I feel like I'm singing the lego movie theme tune....
