I'm going to CZ for the first time this summer. We'll be staying for a week in th town of Most, which is not too far from Prague. I'm driving there so hope to see more of CZ than just the area we're staying in, before I head up to Poland. Any good recommendations?

I know lots of good places to see in Moravia but I really don't know that other part of the country very well at all. I guess if you're willing to drive around then you can go anywhere. Go to the Beskydy mountains. They're gorgeous. Then accidentally 'get lost' which nearly guarantees going into Slovakia, which is always fun. I've accidentally been to Slovakia about twice and I haven't regretted it. So yeah, go to Rožnov or somewhere in the Beskydy. It's very nice. And then go to Olomouc! And then come to Ostrava! You can see our steel works and be underwhelmed.

I finally went to the torture museum in Prague last week. I've been wanting to go for a long long time. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's the best torture museum ever. It's small and simple and just filled with torture. According to information provided by the torture museum, the hand saw is the most painful way to die, "even worse than the stake." This is the picture up in the museum
. But I distinctly remember a Biblical historian on tv saying that the stake is the most painful way to die. How does anyone know for sure? How can I get a definite answer?
