There's kind of a sense of inevitability over this, partly because everyone knew from the off that it was a six month lease then it becomes affordable student housing, but also there's not that widespread a feeling that The Charlotte in its current state (forthcoming attractions: The Jam DMC, The Paddingtons) is really keeping the torch alive for the storied venue.
