This forum is dying on its arse.

Everyone's working so hard you'd think the economy was in meltdown.

Do you think it's worth a spell inside to kill your boss? I'm considering it. I'd get fed better.

We should kill each other's bosses. That way any sort of stupid sentimentality won't get in the way.

Or you could just give him a good shake

we've all been labelled incompetent by one of the senior managers

I don't mean me, you and you

but the department I work in has been labelled 'incompetent' by a department we work for (a department, oh irony of ironies, who are entirely incompetent but shit never goes upwards... does it?)

I don't know why I'm mentioning this, other than to join in and say 'bosses? feh!'

can these bleeding revolutionaries stop having coffee mornings and bring and buy sales and please kindly get on with the job in hand?! let's beat these ploughshares into weapons and get some heads on spikes, for goodness sakes!

It's my birthday on Friday. I'm not doing 'owt special, but we'll be going out for drinks in the early evening, then me and one or two others are going to see Woodpigeon play in The Red Room for 45 minutes or something, then we'll come out and continue the hijinx. Friday night, innit.

So yeah, I reckon we'll start in The Golden Fleece at around 6pm and work our way towards town, and I'll go the gig at around 9pm. Probably. People are welcome to drink without me in their presence though.

Everyone invited, if you fancy that sort of thing. Drinking and chatting is all I can offer.

Does your flat have a parlour? I think wherever there's a parlour, parlour games are what you play. Unless you've got a Wii.

I'm coming round and we're playing Bridge and I want nibbles. I'm jealous of you having a Co-op and an office chair suppliers so close to your house. And those two nice pubs across the road. I want to live there too.

You've got it made, you lot have. All we've got in West Bridgford is an angling supplies shop and a chippie that sells rice and steamed monkfish.

Hee. Glad you guys got it all sorted. Mapperley Park is the place to be. I so wish my flat would sell so I could move there right now!
Give over.

You are about a four minute walk away. You are also only a seven minute walk away from Anarchy HQ. They grow their own courgettes.

More importantly, you're two streets down from Studio Indiehorse.

I think Jamie should make a map of all the local attractions.
And then Richard should make a better one.

I think the local attractions of the Mapperley Park/Carrington/Sherwood Rise/Forest Fields area are limited. That said, it's Goose Fair next month. We'll all go hook a duck and then get our faces kicked in by local toughs.
