For some reason I haven't mentioned it on here yet, but at the end of this month (27th October) I'm hosting the brilliant boys from The Thyme Machine, their friendly friends Stephen Hudson and the Fiat Pandas, my friendly friend Henry Parkinson (aka lyrical indiepop local Make a Halo), and the infinite void of societal failure that is me (Alex und der Christopher Hale Gruppe). It's going to be fun on a bum, is at JT Soar, and costs £5.

Nottinghams! I come bearing spam!

Fancy popping over to Sheffield for our lovely acoustic afternoon/evening gig this Saturday? We've got The Catenary Wires, Songs For Walter, Frankie Machine, The 10p Mixes, Steve & the Sea, Pete Green and Finnmark!

If you do, there's plenty of time to get back home after. We should be done by 10pm, which is enough time for you to enjoy one more tasty Rutland Arms beer and catch the 10:37, which arrives on platform 3C at Nottingham at 11:27. Your lovely Trent Barton buses are probably still running then, aren't they? Perfect.

I'll stop there, but it would be lovely to see you.

Hello! I haven't been around much lately, but I'm doing this gig in a fortnight which features antifolk founder Lach and a bunch of local acts like We Show Up on Radar, Make a Halo, Joey Chickenskin and more (I'm also playing it, sorry).

Check it out:

I'm doing a gig at JT Soar next Saturday, which features Skeletal Shakes (ex-members of Standard Fare), Prizefighter (from Derby, featuring me in a reduced capacity) and Everyone's Favourite Pete Green.

It'd be ace to see some of you there, should you be able to make it! (to reiterate, this is on Saturday 27th August)

Super Urgent Nottingham POP Alldayer 'Can You Please Put Up A Band On Saturday Night?' SNAFU Request

Because of my own fuck-uppery I need to find somewhere for a band of four (delightful, dependable) on Saturday night after the Alldayer... might there be a kind and accommodating soul or souls with some spare floorspace/sofa/bedroom space be willing to step forward and save the day? We can discuss terms (you might be able to keep the band as your pets after)

Please message me, be yr best friend forever
