Tomorrow? I'm in Walsall (oh yeah!) during the day, but should be back at about six.

Another new real ale pub on Friar Lane is opening in December, in the old BZR building. It's going to be called The Crafty Cow. I have to say, I do like that Ned Ludd place just down the road from there.

I didn't really like the Ned Ludd, I just thought it was a bit wanky. Table service in a pub is a rather weird concept too me. It's expensive too, if you're not paying attention. It amused me that a lady in there had ordered drinks without paying attention and was astonished it was £6 for a half! That said their ale prices are fairly standard, just their lagers seem to be a bit over the top. I'll probably like it when it's less busy and full of haircuts.

Interested in this crafty crow though; and there's another new pub that seems to be opening in the lace market, not far from the Old Angel and that metal tree sculpture. I think it it's going to be a pub anyway, there's been works going on in there for awhile and yesterday I spotted what definitely looked like handpumps and a coffee machine in the window.

It's nice to see more pubs opening up in Nottingham rather then being shut down around the country.

Does anyone have any CD decks/ a mixer that I could borrow for Sam's party in two weeks? Or does anyone who does have those things want to DJ for a bit? I can't organise a piss up in the proverbial. Help.

I have a basic 2-channel mixer, but no CD decks.

Oooh, James, would you mind us using it? That would be a great help.

Thank you very much, duckie.

I'll just pause until tomorrow or something to see if anyone has any decks, then I'll start panicking.

Ay up, Nottingham. Pre-Christmas drinks pre-gig at the Christmas party? Or what?

I'm basically putting a call out to caucus.

Excellent. Don't think we have Ted that day, so let us know where you fancy.

Anyone else?

It's next Friday. The 13th.

I shall probably be up for some drinks. I'm not sure what time I'm available from.

Where shall we meet? Anyone want to try the Ned Ludd? I like it - although I know Damian said he didn't. They do pork pie and stuff, if you're into food.
