It can't be helped sometimes. At least you can go home a couple of days later. Think of the million of so poor bastards who live there.

We prefer to be called the enlightened few (pronounced enlightened fyaw).

I hear good things about Seal Cub Clubbing Club - one of Ace Bushy Striptease runs the fansite.
And by me, I mean, Flexo.

The Pete Green Corporate Juggernaut are playing somewhere called the Vines next Monday, 1 September, with the Seal Cub Clubbing Club. Is anyone there?
I am informed that two other bands are also playing. They are The Atoms (described as "The Damned meets The Beach Boys") and The Laze (who apparently are purveyors of "dark funk, epic cheese and party prog").

I may leave after we've finished.

The Atoms aren't that bad. If you've had a drink.

Ooh I like The Vines, although you might not, Pete. I used to go there quite bit, and have done a couple of times again this year thanks to the Deirdres. They do good cocktails there! I doubt I'll get to the gig sadly though Have fun times!

There are tickets on the door, I believe. I'm risking it.

The plan is to get the 6.00pm Red Arrow from Victoria Bus Station. Unless the plan's changed since Tuesday.

The plan is/was, to meet in the Peacock around 5ish, get a pint in and then catch the bus to Derby.

I'm going to stick to that plan.

The 6:00pm bus, yes? I'll come to the pub before hand, if I get let out of work early.

If anyone wants to go and throw rocks at Nick Griffin tonight, he's speaking at a venue near junction of Nottingham Rd and Chaddesden Lane End.
