Ooh, yes, that's me that is. Lime Chalks will be a four piece at this gig, no cello I'm afraid Mr Ray. What time do you want us at The Flapper?

Some of us Brum Anoraks will be at Indietracks too.
about 6 i reckon- that sounds good for you? i'm still not sure who is going on when so maybe you and The Last Hurrah! will have to wrestle to find out.

ALongWalkHome can be guest referee.
I'm down with this. Think we might be bringing a fair few, as we're being really organised about this one!
And by me, I mean, Flexo.

So the Jug has gone.

The Flapper is next in the firing line - http://www.birminghammail.net/news/birm ... -21388474/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

More redevelopment so they can replace it with a smart shoes only Brindley Place style continental drinking culture or whatever.

oh no that sounds horrific! they already have brindley place which is nice enough, why develop even more!

also why are they insisting on calling areas westside and eastside, all it makes me think of is the rap wars. all it needs is digbeth area to be renamed south central...

Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. My cousin took me to the F & F to see her friend's band when I was very underage. Which may have technically been my first gig (no idea who the band were). I've had a soft spot for it ever since. Boooo.

Eastside's better than Ventureast. Which sounds like a climbing shoe.

I blame Clive Dutton. For everything.

Everyone enjoy Indietracks. I will enjoy Birmingham in your absence.

thanks to everyone for coming. apologies for my utter lack of animation and for all having to see my face.

did anyone else notice that NONE of my posters were up? Bloody Flapper.

STILL, pop fun was had and THAT'S the most important thing.

It was great! I'm assuming you're going back up North tomorrow? Shame we didn't get to say trar properly. I'm guessing you're away until the end of August now?

Btw, we did go back to find you. A strange man standing in the shadows said "Ray's outside", and shut the door after us, and you WEREN'T THERE. Tricksters.

i thought you'd all gone so i went. the man wasn;t lying. or if he meant to lie it was a coincidence that he was telling the truth.
