Londons! What are we doing for pub club? It's cold and rainy and it'll be perfect. Let's do something. x

Thanks for the chivvy Marianthi.

I appear to have taken on the mantle of arranging this from King Forbes.

Anyway, in the spirit of benevolent dictator let's go to the Old Fountain:-

It was recommended at the last pubclub as decidedly groovey but not wanky.

When: Monday 28th October. I know I know it's a Monday but as the weather will be on the turn it may be nice and quiet and that.

Everybody welcome. Please turn up in droves. I may tell the story about when family friend Billy Halliwell once met Elvis Presley.

hopefully this turns out to be a good choice as I recommended it. Last time I was in, it got very busy after work for a few hours but then calmed down a bit.

Cracking selection of cask and keg beers anyway!

Dunno what's happening with the Helen Love gig yet but it'd be lovely to see you if I make it!

Will you be issuing the email to all the (ir)regulars too, Ian? We can't have standards slipping on your first watch at the helm.

Like.

I shall be at the gig, and I hope to get to the pub too, but this might entail some kind of sickie in the afternoon.

Pub Club Alert

Ok, the weather's not particularly clement - My ardour for this evening is not even dampened one jot.

I'll be at the Old Fountain near that Moorfields Eye Hospital at 6.30.

All welcome, lollygaggers and brigands especially.

BTW Londons, although I am not going to Helen Love, I *am* going to The Wedding Present on Friday. Y'know, in case that is of interest to anyone.
