It has come to my attention that tonight is the night that soft revolution off this very forum is in Glasgow. I think I'm going to go out and meet him for a pint later, perhaps in the Bon Accord, if anyone fancies it. I'll post further details later on, once I've arranged it.

we are trying to decide what to do tonight.

Lynsey wants to go bowling, i fancy the Laurieston. You can get cheap drinks in there and you can smoke is a warm dry chamber.

I didn't know that, no! We didn't make it in the end. Dunc totally dissed us and went out with people he'd actually met before instead. Cuh! Imagine!

I was thinking of it, but I really need to work a lot this week, so I'm planning on being in Edinburgh all week from Tuesday morning.

I'll be out on Friday Sam. What time are y'all arriving? I'm off work so can come through whenever for pre-club pub type antics.

Oooh, well it depends on traffic, I suppose. AA Routefinder tells me it takes 5 hours 19 minutes. So let's call that six hours by the time I've lost my rag.

I imagine it'll be about 5-ish.

Cool. I'll probably park myself in Mono for me tea and a bit of record browsing so if someone could let me know where you'll be then that would be splendid.

I'll be out for Back Tae Mine. Pub action beforehand would be nice as well.

there will be pub action beforehand too, not sure where Lynsey wants to head to yet.

I heard some great news though, the Carnarvon has been re-instated as the name of the Carnarvon. I guess the Adams Family have finally sold it. Pity its not Vince and Rose back, but i suspect it will be once more resounding to the drunken antics of my good self shortly.

I'll be out too, I reckon. I might even wear a frock to make a good first impression.
