Gav, can you shed any light on what's happening at the Duck on Saturday? MSTU + other bands? DJs?

Monkey Swallows the Universe will be playing at the Flying Duck on Saturday night. Doors are going to be 9pm, and its £4 in. I will be DJing a wee bit before and after the band. Then your entrance fee will include getting to stay in the Duck for resident clubnight El Rancho Picante, which will be spinning a variety of discs to get you dancing and drinking a fine range of beverages until 3am, should you wish to stay out till late o'clock. A fine night is guaranteed for all, and MSTU are very much worth seeing, so come along one and all.

Don't forget also on Friday night, its Pat 'Nifty' Nevin guesting at Back Tae Mine, so another fine night is guaranteed for all, if you're heading along to Little League, it makes sense to come along afterwards, cause Pat is grand on the decks, and you can stay out till 3am and get aclimatised for Saturday night.
I remember when all this was fields

Hello Glasgow thread

Long shot, but are any good gigs happening on Sunday 24th?
And by me, I mean, Flexo.

There doesn't appear to be anything on, unless you want to see Ginger ex-Wildhearts playing live... So, nothing. It might be worth keeping an eye on the list website to see if anything else turns up later in the month.

Are you up here for the weekend, then?

That'd be cool. I'm not that good at Glasgow geography. I'm somewhere close to the SECC (where I saw Fire Engines play to thousands, which still weirds me out a bit), which is a bit out of the centre isn't it?

It's pretty near the centre, but slightly outside it to the west. Quite a lot of us live in the west end of the city anyway, and there are some decent pubs within 10-20 minutes walk of the SECC area. Let us know nearer the time when you're planning on arriving and stuff.

Was anyone from Glasgow thinking of going to Indietracks? I quite fancy it.

Hmmmm could be doable. A friend phoned me from that last year to tell me he'd been sick.

Let him know Fahad will be over the end of this month. He wants to give him his CDs back.
