Offbeat just a 50-50 possibility for me as things stand, too. Meh.

Luncheon Club at the Deer this Friday is looking very possible as things currently stand, however. Anyone? Haven't had chance to hug a Sheffields yet in 2014. Other than Linda, obviously. And the cat.

Yay! Jeremy! I'll be there but I might have to make do with a half as I've got loads to do this afternoon. Though I might need a pint because I've got loads to do this afternoon.

No worries at all. I'll probably be keeping to an hour maximum as I've got to pick the car up post-MOT. Usual 12.30ish sort of time?

Not sure about getting to Hibbett meself. It's the second anniversary of mine and Linda's first proper real, live, on-our-own date (as opposed to the party where it all started just before that), and we have some tentative plans. Will see, though.

I shall be dj-ing at To Hell With Poverty later if you fancy a night out. It's at the Bell Jar these days, but don't let that put you off.

Anyone else see the lightening flash (?) in the sky over S6 yesterday teatime? I saw it walking up the hill from work, but there was no rain or thunder with it. Weird!

Didn't see about it; just saw it mentioned on Twitter or something.

Until I hear differently I'm going to assume it was connected to Nikola Tesla's experiments with wireless energy transmission in 1908.

Yes! I thought I'd imagined it because it seemed very unlikely. I'm glad it turns out I've not started hallucinating.
