Come Dine With Me

Post by a layer of chips » Sun Oct 21, 2007 16:31

There. I've started a Come Dine With Me thread.

Linus' mate does the voice over for the show.

Not a lot of people know that.

Anyway. This is easily the best cookery show on telly.

I love Come Dine With Me, it's fantastically bitchy.

Can't understand why anyone would want to be on it, mind.

my old school chum, Dave, is also in that new Jennifer Saunders 'comedy' on Thursday nights

he deserves better

I think Come Dine With Me may be his finest hour

he's also the policeman in the Heat magazine adverts

he no longer returns my text messages

I love it! I wanted the old guy to make a proper good dinner but it was a bit of a disaster, eh? Green crepes indeed!

I've seen a few where people cheat (i.e. get a catering company to do it), which is even more bewildering than the people who go on it and actually cook, as it's not even as if your culinary expertise is being rewarded. People are obviously more desperate for a grand and three free dinners than I thought.

I like the bit where they have a nose 'round the other people's houses and turn their noses up at all the ornaments and suchlike.

Who is he in that? They seem to have forgotten to put any jokes in it.

he's des, I've not properly watched it (it is bad) he's one of the production team

he was also in 'rhona'

he's done some quite good stuff too though: armando ianucci; armstrong and miller; hippies; dr terror's house of horrible; goodness gracious me- stuff that had more than a few laughs in

on 'come dine with me' he puts on a voice

Did anyone see the 'celebrity' one this week? The bloke from G4 (who has seemingly gone solo), love rat Harvey from So Solid Crew, Tamara Beckwith and some musician woman I've never seen before in my life. Harvey didn't know what asparagus was. Bless.

Everytime I try to tell someone not to eat with their mouth open (which doesn't happen much as I don't tend to socialise with neanderthals or Harvey from So Solid Crew) I end up ruining it and saying 'don't eat with your mouth full' which obviously is a completely normal thing to do.

I bet he had a so solid poo after eating all that bread.

You've never heard of Lynsey de Paul?! Shame on you.

I've got a secret crush on Tamara Beckwith.

Brenda from tonight's show really is Cheryl Cole/Tweedy in 20 years time. Quite uncanny.

Cheryl is a bitch in 20 years time.
