Re: It's a pleasure by public

Pitt students get to ride the bus for free here too. Actually all of public trans in Allegheny county is free, which is pretty dope. I wanna ride the incline up Mt. Washington and explore all over the place, once I get some downtime. I just moved here a week and a half ago. Last night is -2(F) with ...

Re: Fat Tulips

You can grab a lot of their records off Discogs without paying horror prices. I'd load up myself, but overseas shipping from a bunch of different sellers is too much. I guess Heaven Records mailorder is defunct? Its a shame, he had a lot of really good OOP records for cheap. I still rock my Fat Tuli...

Savages - Silence Yourself. Enjoyable if you like this style, not breaking any new ground though.
Neko Case - The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight.... This is pretty good.

Re: How do you produce your zine?

I've got a zine nearly ready (made it for Indietracks), which I can't find in me to print and put out there. It feels like an impossible task, even though I'd relish the secret printing at work. I have finally become that Hidden Cameras song. Is there a support group? M.! Get out of that hole of mo...

Nerosubianco aka Attraction aka The Artful Penetration of Barbara (???)

60's contemporary mores are smashed in this. its decent, but there were some corny scenes and I didn't like the band at all. worth a watch though.

Re: Things I am listening to now then

Chaos Destroy - Lightning Strikes Twice LP. These guys from Maryland who started out as just simple, inept noise punk in the tradition of old bands like Gai, Swankys, Chaos CH, etc., with a certain innocence or naivety that was always endearing. I was going to need convincing if I was going to keep ...

Morgiana. Beautiful film. One of the top things I've watched lately. Soundtrack by the same composer as Valerie and Her Week of Wonders.

Re: Things I am listening to now then

Los Angeles and Wild Gift are both dope like soap on a rope, but they both also have a joint or two that I'm liable to skip. Under the Big Black Sun though, that is tip top shelf start to finish and THE superior X album!! (All their other albums suck). If you like X's most rockin material, check ou...

Re: Why are people putting things out on tape?

Yeah one of the sellers is the guy who runs the label. Who knows how many he kept out of circulation. Fuckin engineering rarity so you can rip people off and profit is a shit thing to do, especially in a DIY scene. Several years ago this same dude faked having brain cancer, lied to all his friends a...
