Re: Ticket panic !

Just bought an all weekend ticket. I´m happy to visit Indietracks for the first time. But my ticket looks very...simple, there´s no barcode, just the Midland Railway logo and a Reference number. Is this the right ticket? I'm just a little worried that I had some kind of fake ticket...? Don't worry,...

Re: Flowers - debut album "Do Waht You Want To It's What You

The Indietracks set is something I'll remember for ever, was stunning, and I've caught them three times live since and I love them to bits. I've got to admit some of the early studio stuff I heard by them didn't grab me as much, but I'm full of hope for the album and hoping they do a few more shows ...

Re: GOING UP THE COUNTRY 2014

Totally endorse everything said by people above, not a weak band on the bill. Flowers are just about my favourite live band at the moment (Joanna Gruesome are really #1 but Flowers are #2) and I really liked Cosines, not heard them before. Thought the keys and extra vocals really added to the Sweet ...

Re: Indietracks 2013 Photos and Memories

I thought I'd share a recent postscript to my immediate review after last year's Indietracks which I think is another example of what a great festival this is. As part of my review I said Only downer for me was dropping my Tunabunny T-shirt somewhere at the festival or on the way back to the Premier...

Disaster, just been told this is my wedding anniversary and so no way can I get away with going. If you could postpone it by a day would be appreciated! Hope it goes well and I'll be there in spirit.

Re: Wales Goes Pop! - The Gate, Cardiff - 18-20/04/14!

Agree with all the above, but I'd swap Flowers with Night Flowers for my day 1 highlights. Second day was great, enjoyed The School, RadStewart and Proper Ornaments and Los Bonsais in the cafe. Cracking festival, met some lovely people, and I'll be back next year if it happens and agree it was great...

Great video. My mate Keith filmed quite a few other tracks throughout the day and sure he'll upload more over the next few days.

Re: Leicester Indiepop Alldayer 2014, 22nd March

Well that was another brilliant day, cheers once again for putting it on. Wind Up Birds were a massive discovery for me, fantastic stuff. Spook School and Martha probably my highlights, but enjoyed all the bands and sorry I had to miss most of Mascot Fight's set as I needed to eat. Also think Russ t...

Re: Leicester Indiepop Alldayer 2014, 22nd March

About to head into town for this via two buses, just got to go steady on the beers early doors! Really looking forward to it. This time last year there was snow on the ground and when I went out I couldn't get the front door closed as it has expanded, so spent 20 mins planing the door frame before I...

Agree it's a great do do do do. Another recent do do do do bit in a song that I really like is Clearhead by Sisters

Re: Leicester Indiepop Alldayer 2014, 22nd March

Think the cookie Sunday social is upstairs, so downstairs may be an option - Tinny the venue owner is a top bloke and sure he'd be happy to help out if the venue was available. Other place worth trying is the basement at the exchange in the 'cultural quarter'. Seen a few bands there and it's separat...

Re: The definitive Indietracks band

I've only been to the last two, but from these it would be 1. Flowers Felt a tear running down my cheek during 'I love you'. Stunning set. 2. Joanna Gruesome seeing them rip it up in the church with my mates outside looking through the window was great. They represent everything I was looking for in...

Re: LDN 7-10 Jan - The 4th Annual Fortuna POP! Winter Sprint

I only went on the Thursday and it was fantastic . I loved Flowers, thought they were great at Indietracks but close up they were just as good, incredible voice and good to have a crowd not chattering through a quiet set. I enjoyed September Girls set and looking forward to hearing the album. Joanna...

Re: Glasgow Weekender 8th/9th Feb 2014

I like a good all Dayer and this could be a possibility for us coming up from the midlands - hopefully can find a cheap flight or train. Not been to Glasgow for a while, so how accessible is the venue if we book a hotel in the centre of town (is it easy to get bus/taxi to and back from venue at a de...

Re: Your Indietracks 2014 wishlist

Saw Sisters twice in the last week and think they would be excellent filling the Fever Dream type role this year., i.e. Noisy three piece with catchy tunes. They really are a bit special.
