Re: The Mai 68s

Err nope I'm afraid not. It's a ric 450/12. It was their student model and has been played by such lumineres as johnny ramone - in the rock and roll high school film - chris stein from blondie who I believe can be seen playing one in the heartof glass video (although tbf that may be a 425 - the one...

Re: General Chat About Films And That

What's the most indie pop/twee film? I'd say Garden State. Garden State makes me want to kill most people in the world. But mostly Natalie Portman's character. The guy in the suit of armour was quite funny though. I quite enjoyed it the first time I watched it but when I watched it again I suddenly...

I can't believe I have been sucked into this show again this year. I was hoping the girl with the massive forehead and too much blusher would get through

Haha, that reminds me of Blossom! She was always wearing hats like that. And Six! hehehe...I was about to say the same! All my friends went through a blossom phase aged 11. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/fox_in_snow/blossom.jpg Then came the Clarrisa Darling phase http://img.photobucket.com...

Re: Winter coats and jackets

I'm still strugling to find the perfect coat.
I don't know why I torture myself by looking at net-a-porter and my-warbrobe.com. Just spied this Cacheral coat but it's £315 :(

Re: Winter coats and jackets

My toggle coat turned up today. I love it but it's a bit thin. The inside is lined with sheepskin type fluff but only to just below my chest. the rest of kind of like thick sweater material. It's so super cute though so I think i'll keep it for when it's cold but not too cold

Is a sky blue duffel coat a terrible idea? I think I've just bought one. sky blue duffle coats are a great idea! There are some nice coloured duffle coats in topshop at the moment. sea green http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/fox_in_snow/07H02TSEA_large.jpg Navy http://img.photobucket.com/album...

Re: the worst clothes/outfit you have ever worn.

When I was about 13 I used to wear bad oversized plaid shirts and sometimes a baby doll dress I would purposely scruff up and tear holes in along with a feather boa and my school shoes (they were the only ones I had!). I thought it was a bit grunge/courtney love/riot grrl. I'm sorry :( this was like...

Re: Winter coats and jackets

that's a fine looking parka! and isn't durability and lasting-longness (yeah, i made up that word. sorry) one of the good qualities of a winter coat? i always try to get at least 3 years out of a winter coat if i can. Very true. It's how I justify spending a bit more on big winter coats anyway. I w...

Re: perfume

Andrew's mum bought me Marc Jacob's Daisy purse spray for my birthday! I love it and the Daisy theme reminds me of Mary Quant. http://a248.g.akamai.net/7/248/8278/20080114192255/www.sephora.com/assets/dyn/product/P205021/P205021_hero.jpg I didn't realise he had so many fragrances out now. Re: Winter coats and jackets

2. Last year I splurged on a fancy dressy, classic black coat. I do love it, but it's too cold for the Swedish winter, so it can't really be brought over when I go back for Christmas sadly. Lovely though. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1037/1361371257_d53917df8e.jpg?v=0 [/quote] I love that Black co...

Re: Winter coats and jackets

aww, the one with the toggles is definitely cute! i just got a new coat, it's more of an autumn coat though as it's probably going to be super super cold here in winter. it'll be fine as a winter coat in england though and it was only £40. the hood is removable and it has cute pockets and puffy sle...

The hooded one is from urban outfitters. I think I might be talked into getting the red one. I keep promising myself I will be more adventurous with different colours to what I usually wear

Winter coats and jackets

Every winter I struggle to find a new winter coat I like so I thought I would start a coat thread to get some inspiration. All I want is a nice plain coat for winter but I never seem to find any. I'm liking the look of this one but I'm not sure about the red. I love red but I always tend to play it ...

Re: Rabbits

Have any of you kept house rabbits? Do you have any tips? Did they smell? Are they nice pets? I grew up in a house with house rabbits and my mum still has one. They are really lovelly to have about. You can train them to use a litter tray or go out in the garden. My mum's just hangs around the hous...
