Re: iPods

Anyone know if there's a way of deleting things from a touch without it being connected to a computer? I've got some podcasts on there which I've downloaded directly from itunes to the ipod. But when I plug it into my computer they don't show up in itunes, and on the podcast tab for my ipod the ones...

Re: Veronica Falls

I usually get a feeling of anti-climax when an album is released from which I've already heard half of the tracks. But I can't stop listening to this. The old tracks sound completely new amongst the others. I love the harmonies on Misery especially.

Re: Big Love

I've just started watching season 2 thanks to Sky Atlantic filling up my Sky+ box. I really enjoyed season 1 and am intrigued as to where it's going to go. It's a lot darker in places than I expected. Juniper Creek scares the bejesus out of me. I can certainly see the comparisons with Six Feet Under...

Oh! I was there too. Where were you?

Wasn't he grand? I think he would still be playing now if there hadn't been a curfew. *SWOON*

The sale might be over, but I've just been on and that one appear to be available in all t-shirt sizes. Well done.

Re: The Football

I once volleyed a football into the groin area of the then Burnley trainee, later to be scorer of a winning goal for Sunderland against Manchester United in the Premiership, John Mullen. He pretended it didn't hurt but I could tell from his career that he never really recovered.

Re: Fantasy Football League

I'm not really bothered either way. I just thought that if there was anyone who wanted to make changes towards the deadline but were denied it's not really their fault, is it? There's a deadline, if you try to do something a day before it but can't then the argument of "well, you had a chance" doesn...

Re: Fantasy Football League

What with all the pre-season-not-being-able-to-hoo-ha, it looks like you can have unlimited transfers this week. Look, see. There's also the ability to restart league scoring from GW2. What do people reckon to this for our league? It would make more sense, I think, and then those who had pre-season ...

six feet under was my first 'boxset obsession'.

it really was absorbing, compelling, dark and quirky. it doesn't really get the acclaim it deserves - it's a lot better than true blood.

ruth was my favourite - BEST SCENE EVER!

It was all absolutely ace, but especially The Hidden Cameras (x2), MaPC, Zipper, Edwyn Collins, Papa Topo, Suburban Kids, Very Truly Yo...
