Re: clothes

That's ten years more recently than I've seen it, you are right. It doesn't suit her, does it?

Hell yes, I wish I'd thought of that! Shangri-las style with the tambourine as HARBINGER OF DEATH.

Sootyzilla in London, July 4-5

If anyone cares, I shall be in London next week for the first couple of days of the Great British Beer Festival.

Should anyone wish to remind themselves what I look like, or has nothing else to do, join me for pie and mash or some jellied eels or something, or maybe a pot of porter.

Colin Clary's Tent of Terror: the result

Just in case anyone cares, this is what resulted from Colin Clary's songwriting workshop at Indietracks. We started two songs, afterwards I finished them off and recorded demos in my tent at 8am the next morning.

Re: Your Indietracks 2010 Wishlist

The Field Mice, electric, with feedback and a drum machine, playing "White", on a steam train. The deaths would be a price worth paying.

Re: Indiepop blasphemy

I am opposed to the entire concept of art. I am not interested in what "is art" and what "isn't art", nor do I see any value in dividing humanity into artists and non-artists.

Things are done well, or they are done badly. That's all.

Re: clothes

What about some sort of top (anything from a bodice to a blouse) in black or purple satiny material with some embroidered or lacey trim, and a little black velvet jacket or cape over it? Then a calf-length skirt, maybe some tassels on the hem, and a pair of DMs (with the stitching painted black, obv...

Very true. Does that mean that the vast majority of the Indietracks audience will be scabs? We of the International Bolshevik-Leninist Workers League (British Section of the International Bolshevik-Leninist Workers League for a Bolshevik-Leninist Workers International) have issued a formal request ...

I can't believe it's this weekend! It doesn't seem like five minutes since the last one. I still have minidiscs from last year that I haven't got around to copying onto my computer yet!

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

You mean "on the gate".

Yes, you can bring food and water in. It's just bringing your own booze that's not allowed.

Although possibly someone actually involved with organising can confirm this.
