...and sounding a lot better than a lot of the bands plugged on here too!

Nice to see Bob still making music! I'd come along but Bristol's a bit of a way away for me these days.

Battery Hens have a Steve Albini/Kevin Shields vibe about them too - they're quite good.

Re: Southampton. Famous for...

I can only comment on the Pompey bands on the list Mr Kittens - a lot of the bands playing are from out of town although quite a few have played Club Psychedelia over the last year or so - however, my tips are: Kasassin street and Kill Kaspar - two of the better local bands, lots of energy and big c...

Guitarist wanted - South Coast

Guitarist wanted for established band in the Southampton/Portsmouth area - ability to JANGLE a must. Musical directions are indie/pop/punk. If you're the bastard love child of Terry Bickers and Amelia Fletcher then thats just perfect!
Own gear and transport essential.

Re: Camera Obscura

Anyone know about a new single? I see a single is being given away free to the first 150 that attend the "Sonic Flower Groove" Club night in Leicester on 25th January - as its an Elefant night will that be an old single - or new stuff?

Re: The Wedding Present/Cinerama

Seamonsters in Portsmouth last week was fantastic!! They also did an acoustic set in the afternoon at Pie and Vinyl - Southsea's only pie shop that sells records too - or should that be record shop that sells pies too? There were 40 people crammed into the cafe to see Gedge and co perform classics s...
