Re: The "I just made a song, do you want to listen?" thread.

I finished making some recordings. All done on a laptop mic, so not the best quality.

Re: Fringe!

I teared up with just about everything Walter did, they really made his and Peter's relationship come round in a perfect way.

Re: 2013, then

If the Pastels album is as good as those little clips, I think it will be about all I need for the year.

Other than that, the new Veronica Falls hasn't been mentioned. I really enjoy the song they just put out from it.

Re: Veronica Falls

They're gonna be in Madison, WI, which was a surprise, because usually whenever I read a band's tour dates, the closest is always Chicago. So now I have a concert I can look forward to, finally!

Re: Fringe!

I was thinking the same thing about September! Though your theory is a little more fleshed out. I've also been loving this season. While I'm sad to see it ending, I'm glad it's not dragging on forever, and it seems to be getting the ending it deserves. Also someone needs to give John Noble an award,...

Re: radio shows

Here's a plug for my radio show! I host a show on my college's station. The program's called Anorak County, and the station's called WSUM. It's pretty much indie pop and related genres. I've been doing the show for about a year now. The show's on every Friday 8 pm EST. Feel free to listen, it stream...

I actually think that's quite a pleasant Pants Yell! cover, especially the whistling.

Well I just recorded a song, I was testing out a mic I borrowed from work. Link here.

Re: Treme

I found season 2 to be one of the most engrossing things I ever watched. I can't wait for the 23rd to roll around.

Rubicon was soooo good, and AMC replaced it with trash like Hell on Wheels and The Killing, blehh.

Re: Breaking Bad

I rightly got addicted to Game of Thrones in its second season. I'm also a huge proponent of the show Carnivale, which was a short lived HBO show about mythical good vs. evil during the Great Depression.

I think the book is just one of Walter's coveted possessions of pride and that's why he's kept it around (sort of in the way he has flaunted Jesse's watch).
