Any word if Aislers Set is going to do a broader tour? Their last wave of reunion shows were some of my favorite ever!

Diet Cig

They're pretty amazing and deserve their own thread at least. They're arguably pretty much indie pop (at least as much as Martha and almost as much as Talulah). I am a big fan of all this 90s-pop-punk-feminist-excessively personal-lofi stuff creeping up lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBn1ix...

I don't know if Grass Widow is obscure (they were on Kill Rockstars) but their best track is underappreciated!

Calvin Johnson's solo act (or a group reunion) would be awesome!

Re: Please help identify a song!

thanks! that really bugged me last night!

the problem with indie pop is that all these catchy melodies come floating around, and they're impossible to all remember clearly.

Re: Please help identify a song!

Very obvious request I think. It's on the tip of my tongue. It goes something like: 'I used to X (sing?) to make you happy Now I won't make that mistake again. Girl power Girl power Girl power' It's super gentle and melodic with some light rhythmic piano in the background. Very simple stuff. The voc...

Don't forget about the return of the Wake. Dear God I really hope this new album isn't horrible but I worry it might just be.

I also look forward to whatever Hozac or Mexican Summer spews at me.
