i want to try these:

they apparently make everything taste sweet for 30mins - 2hrs after you take one. it'd be great for at school when we have to eat a big load of yucky fishy or vinegary food. except they're £10 for ten tablets. i love sugar.

Re: STAR TREK

haha, i watched the trailer the other day and it seemed so young and sexy and actiony, what the fuck? i didn't know it had simon pegg in it though, that's great. my brother was such a trekky growing up and i watched it with him all the time. we also played that star trek board game that came with a ...

Anyone else seen the new GMail themes ? It only works on one of my three GMail accounts (which perhaps add to the coolness factor), but it does look rather pretty. Yay, Google. :) yeah! there are some really cute ones eh? i currently have the ice creams one (even though it's making me crave ice cre...

ooo, a new game came out here today that's almost exactly like animal crossing except you're a magician! it's by konami and it's for the DS. It looks cute like animal crossing and you fish and catch bugs and things like animal crossing, but you can also do magic, i guess. look! i didn't buy it becau...

Re: xoxo Gossip Girl

last night's episode was a bit rubbish, wasn't it. i'd been so pleased with how consistently good it had been until then. the aaron relationship is ridiculous, it's like they had to make up a load of background for serena in that episode. ooo, you're such a free spirit, oh i always wished i was born...

Re: Japan

speaking of indiepop in japan, i was in shimura music or whatever it's called today and while listening to los cempesinos! on their listening post i flicked through cookie scene magazine and they had a page about indiepop around the world, and it interviewed lots of indiepop bands... so if indiepop ...

Re: Los Campesinos!

i was wasting some time in the music section of my local department store this evening and they had los campesinos! (ugh, i don't like the exclamation mark) on their listening post thing. i listened to a few tracks and i quite liked some of them, i was kind of surprised. they were also on the front ...

Re: The thread where we got to talk about hott film people.

I agree with Cillian Murphy - particularly in Sunshine . Anyone seen Disco Pigs ? Weird film... I'm also partial to early Jake Gyllenhaal (feel embarrassed about that these days, what with his horrendous muscles for Prince of Persia )... he was hott in disco pigs but i don't like him at all in the ...

Re: makeup and cosmetics

Er, sorry. Night rant! But a bit. There is a 24 k eye cream. Wtf? I use a lighter one from The Body Shop just because my eyes feel a bit greasy if I use my day or night cream on there. I guess the skin is thinner there, which affects how the cream goes on. the woman at clinique used the eyecream on...

Re: Accessories

Some are, some aren't. Generally I find vintage ones to be more comfortable than modern ones. Claire's Accessories do quite a few clip-ons, but I find theirs to be the most painful. As well as clip on earrings, some of the vintage ones have a screw to attach to your ear lobes. That sounds dreadful,...

that's funny, i decided i needed to start using eye cream so i got some samples of a clinique one. i don't think a couple of sachets will be enough to notice a difference though so i might just get my mum to buy me some for christmas. eye cream is so expensive isn't it? is it full of magic?

they've got tonnes of great leg warmers in japan, so maybe check out tabio? i like that sort of legwarmer look, with tights, in nice subtle colours. in fact i'm pretty keen on legwarmers, they don't have to be flashdancey. although last time i wore legwarmers, a few years ago, some weird old guy cam...

Re: Accessories

if i ever got engaged and felt the need to have anything other than just a plain band (it's a big if), i'd want a ring just like my mum's. she has a lovely art deco platinum ring that they bought second hand. it's square with lots of little diamonds. i can hardly believe it now but i once let a guy ...
