Re: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

Do people really still think that remixing is taking about ten minutes to slap on some beats and chop up the vocal or something? Quite often, yes... Only crap ones done by lazy people. Just like crap songs written by lazy people are two chords on an out of tune guitar plus you, me, together, foreve...

Re: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

Re: Twee As F*ck!

Just read the Google cache of the comments aimed at the female writer. It's funny how when I accused that blogger of misogyny and a dismissive attitude towards women and the young elsewhere he assured me I was building straw men, and yet he thought it was alright to make vile threats in horrible lan...

Re: indie-mp3 records

It is a much better version, especially as it wasn't recorded in a basement with speeding up drums and a funny bit where it all goes strange for while the trumpet tries to get in sync with half a bar being missing or something. Anyway, yes...there is a reason why it is jokingly known as "the hit".

Re: Penny Broadhurst & The Maffickers

June's exclusive demo track is the Delian Mode Dub Demo Mix of new song 'The Ballad Of Grey Sands'. It's dubby and noisy and melodic and bears being played LOUD in the SUNSHINE. You can listen to it now as the second track at http://www.myspace.com/pennybroadhurst and download it for free from http:...

Re: Public transport policy

First are cutting so many bus services in West Yorkshire that from July if I want to go anywhere in an evening between 6 and the last bus home at 11.10 I either have to pay over the odds to get a Keighley bus or walk for a considerable distance and get a slow bus from another part of my suburb as th...

I hate trying to hype things and am rubbish at it, but I also don't like having to worry about whether or not we'll travel all that way to play to nobody :(
