Re: London is great

Crystal Palace itself is probably quite pricey but just down the hill - Anerley / Penge / Sydenham all gets a lot cheaper and still nice housing stock.

Re: The Possibilities Are Endless - Edwyn Collins documentar

The film is fantastic and very moving. My nephew has Edwyn as a middle name after the great man. Unfortunately, despite this, he has terrible music tastes!

I have instructed my vegan Brum based colleague to visit and spend all his money in your shop. Congratulations Ray, hope to come and see it sometime soon.

Yeh,Santa brought me the calendar.I blame Santa for them selling out so quick. Hopefully he's distributed them all and not just kept them for him and the elves. I don't think the elves could handle it.

Re: Nottingham all-dayer, 14th September

Thanks to everyone involved - another great all dayer. I really enjoyed the Fireworks too, and the Flatmates and All Darlin' were on fine form (and loads of others). About half-way through AD's set I noticed there did appear to be some sort of air conditioning near the bar - hadn't felt it before so...

Re: London is great

I reckon I can get along for a couple of fairly early pints. Is the pub close to FH station? (Please don't let me stay out too long... another pint always seems like a good idea, but it really wouldn't be. Ta.) It's very near the station - come out the main entrance, turn left and couple of minutes...

Re: General Chat About Films And That

I do LoveFilm too and find it pretty good. You can wait some time for more obscure films but as long as you have enough stuff on your rental list it shouldn't be a problem. Generally only about 2 days between putting a film back in the post to getting the next one. If you're going to watch all the f...
