Re: And eeeeeeeeeeeee! some more

We're really sorry that Gopal's couldn't make it after all. However, we think Hey Dhal! will be a good replacement. They do vegan and veggie curries and burgers and have a lovely van called Claude!

Re: Indietracks announcements - 28-30 July 2017

Cate Le Bon is quite famous isn't she? I feel a bit silly for not really knowing. Any recommended listening, anyone? For something gentler, folky and beautiful I'd suggest maybe the first album, Me Oh My - I really like Sad Sad Feet . The albums get more upbeat and possibly poppier and more experim...

We've added a couple more artists today - Sarah Records favourites Secret Shine in the church, and Kriss Foster of the Thyme Machine, who'll be playing a solo set on the train. Kriss will be replacing Robyn Johnson, who has unfortunately had to pull out due to illness. You can read the updated line-...

Re: The "I just made a song, do you want to listen?" thread.

Hello! I recorded a new collection of summer songs recently. Here's one called 'In The Hallway' that's partly about making songs from whichever instruments are around, and it has some tremolo acoustic guitars, soft harmonies and a touch of samba drums! I tried to just post a single track here, but t...

Re: Using Bandcamp

I really like Bandcamp - it seems to do everything perfectly, and I can see how a field recordings appendix could look really good on there as a separate release. It's a lot more user friendly and easier to navigate. Unless you're on the paid account, Soundcloud seems to restrict how people set up t...

Re: Indietracks announcements: 29-31 July, 2016

We're very pleased to say that Girl Ray have joined our line-up. They're a fantastic off-kilter, fuzzy pop trio from London and we can't wait to welcome them to Indietracks. Today we've also published the day splits for all our artists. So if you're wondering which bands are playing on which days, p...

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

We'll have some veggie and vegan options again. It's a pretty small festival, so only a few caterers, but we do try. Gopals will be back again, and they sell vegan curries. There's also a cafe that sells both vegan and veggie options, including hot meals and rolls. We'll have a burrito stand with a ...

Yes, we understand the campsite are organising a disco again this year. We're not involved, but it should be good. I think the DJs are False 9 (Friday), Fortuna POP! (Sat) and Des Was a Bowie Fan (Sun).

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

Will there be a campsite disco again this year? I assume the DJs for this are chosen/recommended by Team Indietracks? We'll try and find out, but I'd imagine so. The campsite discos are organised totally by the campsite, so our team doesn't choose the DJs. We sometimes suggest a couple of DJs to th...

Re: Floater/Floater UK/Dangerlust

Wow, I saw Dangerlust a couple of times in London. One of my friends knew them a bit, I think from university. I saw them at the Purple Turtle in London and at Madame JoJos in Soho. They were quite rock/metal by them, but not as much as some of the other bands on those bills! They were good. I would...
