Re: Shrag

I just listened to the first album all the way through in the car today. Hopelessly Wasted made me cry. It's absolutely fucking amazing. I hit repeat about 6 times. I'm playing it again now. It's one of those songs that will be with you forever.

Re: Belle and Sebastian

I was listening to the back catalogue on shuffle in the car, and I can't believe that 'The Life Pursuit' didn't get on 'The Life Pursuit'. It must be one of the best tracks they've written. I thought that at the time and needed a forum to express it in.

Can I just say: Album of the Year. Brilliant. It reminds me of Jens Lekman for some reason, without the Swedish man-ness obviously. Lyrically tho, and some lovely tunes. I can't stop playing it.

I scored 60 and took 2-20 for my third man of the match in four games. This is the most important cricket story of the day.

I just dropped nearly £1000 on this thing. I feel a bit faint.

Thankfully I'm not having a 6 berth chalet to myself, but still.

Just to add to all the thanks. It was awesome. Highlights for me: The Rocky Nest - Seen them a couple of times before, but it all came together and I totally got it yesterday. Got the EP too, and enjoyed chatting to Jonny on the merch stand. Standard Fare - Again, saw them before in York, but so muc...

I'm in Glasgow for two nights, tonight and tomorrow. Does anyone know if anything fun is happening - gig, comedy, theatre etc?

Also any particular must sees in the city?

Re: 15/11 - Nottingham indiepop all-dayer - Bunkers Hill

I've just booked a room at the IBIS for this! So it looks like me and the Mrs are definitely coming. £36.00 for a non-refundable double. You can get a room at the Travelodge for £19 for that one night if you book now-ish, however you have to pay an extra tenner if you want to check in before 3pm, an...

I love DC, he's undoubtedly my favourite author. I Bought Generation A today, about two thirds through now. I remember racing though Girlfriend In A Coma and loving it until it got to the end. A massive, massive cop-out, it still fills me with thoughts of murderous rage! Girlfriend In A Coma is my f...

Re: WeePOP!

Someone is selling a batch of 13 on eBay, but there is also a random single going for 99p with an adapter, so I might get that. I got an eBay CD drive but sent it back because despite saying 'Mac OS9 or later' on the description, it didn't work.

Thanks for the help.

Re: WeePOP!

I might just get the CD drive anyway incase I get more 3" CD-Rs. an external cd drive is always useful, but if being able to play/ rip 3" discs is your main or only motivation for getting one, it would be cheaper to consider buying an adapter instead. http://www.libertyphotoproducts.com//CatalogIma...
