Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

£20.00 per pitch regardless of size/ number of people staying in it. Which does seem a little unfair on those who have a tiny 1 man tent.

Re: Cambridge

I used to live in cambridge, but I left because it was a tiny bit rubbish.

I was listening to Hofman's album 'Keep your recipts and deny everything' just the other day. I'd happily send a CDR of it to anyone who wanted one.

Re: Accommodation, hotel rooms, camping etc.

Hello there anoraks, having been very disorganised I didn't managed to book a camping space at the Golden Valley campsite.

So, I was wondering if anyone decides to cancel/ take less tents if they could post about it here and I could snap up the space. 1 tent, Saturday night only.

Thank you!

Re: holidays/vacations

How long are you planning on staying in Morocco for?

Are you taking the ferry to Ceuta or Tangiers? Be warned: we got bribed by the guards crossing the border at ceuta. I wouldn't take any of your claims about your paperwork being out of date with a pinch of salt!

Re: Mogwai

I'm going to the London show tomorrow! It'll be great. I haven't seen Mogwai in years, their Glastonbury show (of errr 2000 was it?) remains one of the most fantatic musical experiances of my life, and they'll always have a place in my heart for that, even if I don't listen to them much on record an...

Re: clothes

The Dylon Washing machine dye is a lot easier and less messy to use than anything that involves buckets and rubber gloves. The only think you need to check is if you have a standard drum (with lots of holes in). But it's very rare to find solid drums nowadys unless your washing machine is 20 years o...

No more Language of Flowers? Rubbish I never did get to see them live.

I discovered them through a Go Jonny Go Go Go Go compilation, which were always great. Songs About You will be on my headphones on my way home today.

TVP yuck. I'm not a fan of fake meat generally, but I was forced to eat TVP curries on ocassion in india, the grinding texture against my teeth really freaked me out. But fake meat generally, I just don't get it. Meat is horrible, fake meat, horrible* what's wrong with vegetables? *the sosmix if for...

Brilliant, I didn't think to try Holland and Barrett, I only tried Hippy shops with wooden floors and men in holey jumpers. I love those places.

Re: Veg*n & Vegetari*n (No Fish Please)

Sosmix. As a veggie child in the 80's this was a regular part of my diet. I've been looking for it again recently and the assistants in the wholefood shops i've tried have all looked at me blankly, and asked 'sos... what?'. Has anyone seen the stuff on sale in the past couple of years?

Re: what book are you reading?

Mark Steel's What's Going On? Highly recommended, it's funny and fairly light but he does make some interesting points about the decline of socialism in Britain. Well, interesting for me, not having been around in the 70's. It's made me feel a renewed fury towards big business as well. Which is alwa...
