I've bought my ticket for the Scala gig. This is sad but not totally unexpected I guess. WHAT A BAND.

oh wow! that playlist is basically my ideal club night. hopefully i can make this.

EDIT - oh no. the crushing realisation that I'm away that weekend. I really hope this becomes a semi-regular event because it's Popjustice meets How Does It Feel which sounds amazing.

Re: Walking, then

*FIVE YEAR+ BUMP* I've only recently discovered the joys of walking. Myself and my girlfriend have taken to getting trains from Bromley or Waterloo and doing walks from the Time Out Book of Country Walks. It's great! I experience such joy being out of the city. And when you get to have a nice pint a...

Re: How D'ya Like Them Grapples - A Wrestling Thread

So, much as it sounds far too reaching to turn a wrestling thing back round to Anorak climes, Bayley is basically Indiepop The Wrestler, right? Faux-naive exterior, hard-headed interior, does her best work in the shadows of the majors... recently signed to a major label. seems to be going ok at the...

Re: How D'ya Like Them Grapples - A Wrestling Thread

Revolution Pro at the Cockpit Theatre verdict: the most perfect venue for wrestling. 150 capacity - you can hear the ring creaking and every bump sounds incredible. Shows are monthly(ish), recorded for tv (aka YouTube) and very easy to watch.

Re: How D'ya Like Them Grapples - A Wrestling Thread

On that note - how amazing is the forthcoming cruiserweight tournament on WWE going to be?? Worth the price of the network alone, that. It looks like it cold be good alright. I read the spoilers for the first few shows - sounds like a decent start building towards some excellent matches later betwe...

Re: How D'ya Like Them Grapples - A Wrestling Thread

*BUMP* does anyone here go to shows in London? I've been to a good few Progress shows but haven't been to one for ages now. Also been to a good few Rev Pro shows at the York Hall including Sabre vs Angle recently. I'm thinking about going to their show at the Cockpit on Sunday too as I've never been...

Thanks for the tip. This came up on my Spotify recommended list last night and I only clicked on it because I recognised the cover from your post. It's ace!

Re: Vegan & Vegetarian Food

There are 70+ pages of great recipes here, but what would you say is your favourite simple vegetarian dinner recipe? This is what I made for dinner last night and is one of my regular curries. Hopefully you agree with me classing it as simple! Sag Paneer recipe from Rick Stein. It's a tasty curry t...

my last moan about tickets going on sale almost a year in advance for gigs was about B&S as well. Oh well. I'll start looking for a ticket in nine months time when I know what I'm doing next Summer!

I don't watch Coronation St. that much anymore but I will leave it on if I'm channel hopping and happen to come across it.

I did this a few months ago and came across this wonderful scene.
