I've just found out this is to be The Postcards last gig in their current line-up - as singer and guitarist Porch is moving on! The band intend to continue but not with this 'classic' line up!

Just confirmed in the last 5 minutes: Frank Sweeney, the original June Brides viola player, will also be playing with me tomorrow. Excellent!!! Can't wait.

Anyone fancy doing the doors for us tonight in exchange for a couple of drinks? The venue layout is like the Buffalo Bar meaning you can hear the bands but not see them!

If you fancy it please e-mail tom@NOSPAMsoundsxp.com (removing the nOSPAM bit!) by 4pm today.

Feck me. Phil Wilson with Big John and Frank doing In The Rain with Pocketbooks. One of those moments. What a gig all in all. I will report more when I sober up!

I must admit they were not my cup of tea but plenty people there liked them. Which is good. Thanks for spinning the discs Jean-Michel. How did Twee as Feck go?

Great gigs I must say ! As for the clubnight, my mission to clear up the dancefloor from all drunken britpop fans has succeeded : it was nearly empty at the end !!!
