THe Youtube.lua file is what makes Youtube videos play in VLC Media player.
A little while ago, youtube changed the way their videos played back.
This meant that the old Youtube.lua file no longer worked.
Fortunately, with VLC being open source, it wasn't that long before an updated file was available. I have the updated version, but, as said already, don't know where to put it so that VLC can see it.
My hard drive can be described as 'semi-organised chaos' at best...with files of allsorts all over the place. Generally, if I can't find something I want straight away, I use the search in the windows start menu....which, admittedly, isn't the best way to have a hard drive when it comes to things like this...
